GrayCon Concrete Solutions is 100% locally owned and operated by Darryn Gray. We are based in the sunny Nelson region, NZ… The top of the south.

I have 3 children, 2 boys and a beautiful daughter and we love living here and have done so since Christmas 2008 to live the dream in our beautiful part of the world.

At 16 I was given the opportunity to start working in the concrete industry in Ashburton. I learnt Precast Concrete panels and construction of Concrete bridge deck beams not realizing the potential & significance it had for the future for housing and commercial opportunities as we know it today.

At 18 I achieved my HT and drove Ready-mix trucks for several years then become one NZ’s youngest concrete managers and stayed with them for nearly 25 years working at several main locations in NZ. I Then took a break from Concrete for 18 months while in Nelson driving truck & trailers over NZ before taking another Concrete Managers role where I have been for the past 5 years. I am very thankful for the experiences and knowledge gained and shared to be where I am today.

Now it is time after many years knowing I should be working for myself we are away… finally and now with even more passion I want to follow my dreams and goals to offer my experience, knowledge and expertise to you….. making beautiful Concrete Art from old and new Concrete from many types of different applications. It’s unbelievable what can be done with this amazing durable product with the range of colour applications and design innovation.

After being in the industry for over 30+ years I have an amazing network of professional services gained, shared and to draw from to make your project nothing short of a success with pure passion.
